Krystal Persaud is the founder of Grouphug Solar, making ridiculously good looking solar panels that are easy to use. She is a product designer & entrepreneur based in Brooklyn. Krystal recently bootstrapped her business into a deal with Mark Cuban on Shark Tank. She's passionate about sustainability & education. Ana Sofia Remis is a Cuban-American woman working at the intersection of art, science, and education who focuses on issues of climate change at differing scales. Most recently some of her work's themes include the diluvian future of her hometown, Miami, FL, the parallels between invasive species and diasporic people, and citizen-science based community data collection. Ana graduated from Parsons in 2019 and has worked with various institutions as an educator, designer, and marine invasive species researcher. Ana is interested in technological disobedience, interdisciplinary learning, and science communication. Solaic, her most recent project, is an array of naturally dyed solar cells, and explores ways of combining bioremediation strategies with renewable energy solutions to increase urban resilience. http://www.anasofiaremis.com
